Chicago Bears Injury Update: Mitchell Trubisky Will Not Require Surgery on Injured Shoulder

On Wednesday it was reported that Mitchell Trubisky sustained a shoulder injury in his one play against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday. The extent of the injury was unknown and Trubisky was flown to Los Angeles yesterday for further evaluation.

Adam Schefter is now reporting that Trubisky will not need surgery to address the issue, which is good news. What’s still unknown at this time is how long Trubisky is expected to be out. With the Bears backup quarterback options limited, and an offensive line in shambles, getting Trubisky back is something that we hope will happen soon. We’ll keep you posted.
