Bears Khalil Mack to Undergo Foot Surgery, Miss Remainder of the Season
The Bears confirmed that star linebacker Khalil Mack will undergo foot surgery and go on injured reserve ending his 2021 season. Mack had six sacks in seven games played before sitting out the last two games to try and heal the nagging discomfort in his foot.

Mack is halfway through his six-year $141 million contract and his cap hits go up in the final three years. It is wise in what is probably a lost season to get his foot back to one hundred percent for the back end of the deal.
The bad news for the Bears didn’t end there on Friday. Defensive tackle Akiem Hicks and receiver Allen Robinson both are likely to miss Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens as Chicago’s injury woes mount.
Akiem Hicks is OUT.
Allen Robinson is DOUBTFUL.
Eddie Jackson is QUESTIONABLE.
Khalil Mack is OUT FOR THE SEASON.
Happy Friday, #Bears fans.
