Bears Insider Three-Round NFL Mock Draft 1.0

The NFL kicked off its new year on March 16 and this month we’ve completed the NFL Combine and most of the first and second waves of free agency. With that in mind, I thought I’d take my first stab at a comprehensive three-round draft. We’ve done three Bears mocks with the latest published just after the league’s annual evaluation event, and we’ll have Bears Mock 4.0 before the end of the day tomorrow.

The Packers made some moves to acquire additional picks when they traded Davante Adams to the Raiders, and after a torrid month of league-wide transactions, Chicago and Green Bay are targeting the same positions for the most part. That should make for an interesting weekend April 28-30. In the meantime, let’s light this candle!

A quick note: I don’t speculate on pre-draft and draft day trades, but because the talent pool is so deep, expect a ton of maneuvering all weekend. I’ve heard there could be 35 or more trades involving draft picks in every round. Watch for the Seahawks to try to move up past the Falcons in order to grab a top quarterback.
