Watch: Trevor Siemian and Byron Pringle Give Bears 10-7 Lead
It turns out that Trevor Siemian is indeed the Bears’ mystery quarterback, and he capped a nine-play, 71-yard drive with a four-yard touchdown pass to Byron Pringle.
Justin Fields separated his left, non-throwing shoulder in Atlanta against the Falcons last Sunday and was declared inactive for Chicago’s game against the Jets. Siemian is making his first start since Week 12 of the 2021 season when he was with the Saints. The backup is 7-of-9 for 120 yards and the score.
The touchdown was the first of Pringle’s stint with the Bears.
