Watch: Justin Fields & Cole Kmet Give Bears 7-0 Lead

Happy New Year Bears fans! Our favorite team is trying to play spoiler while all of us hope they can win and still maintain their draft position. The Lions need to win out to have a shot at the playoffs and Chicago holds the No. 2 selection in the 2023 draft. Meanwhile, head coach Matt Eberflus wants his team to learn to close.

The Bears have no trouble starting however and now lead Detroit after a nine-play 75-yard drive, culminating with a 13-yard TD pass from Justin Fields to Cole Kmet.

Cairo Santos was successful on the PAT attempt, and the Bears have an early 7-0 lead.
