Chicago Bears Injury Report: Khalil Mack and Akiem Hicks Return to Practice After Sitting Out Friday

Khalil Mack and Akiem Hicks returned to practice on Saturday after both sat out Friday. Hicks missed the past two practices with a non-COVID-19 related illness. Mack is nursing a sore back and was a limited participant in today’s workout.

While Hicks seems to be fine and will be good to go in Monday’s game, Mack is listed as questionable. Coach Matt Nagy seems to believe that Mack will be ok.

“The back deal is more than anything just soreness,” Nagy was quoted as saying. “It’s probably just more preventative than anything. I’m not really concerned right now.”

Of course, if Mack is out that would be a huge blow to the Bears defense. We’ll keep an eye on this, but the hope is, as Nagy stated, this is more precautionary than a real concern.
